Townscape Town Planning and Heritage Consultant Chester help secure change of use for a 19 bed boutique hotel. The existing buildings are currently used as offices, are grade II listed and are within a terrace of 12 listed buildings.

Townscape Town Planning and Heritage Consultants provided specific and detailed Heritage Planning advice including detailed statement of significance and heritage impact assessment, refining the plans according subject to the heritage assessment ands full planning application submission support.

Once the Listed building application and the change of use application was submitted, Townscape arranged to meet with Local authority planning Officers and Conservation Officer to discus and explain the proposal in more detail.

During the application process many consultations responses were received challenging the heritage merit of the building and Townscape successfully steered the application to Officer approval.

The planning application was called in to be decided by Planning Committee of Cheshire West and Chester Council and Townscape successfully represented the client and owner of the buildings to secure full consent for change of use.
